Upon selection of the components and the subjects, the course duration is decided and the course programme finalised. Depending on the locality, the training can executed in a block or over staggered periods, structured to accommodate continuing laboratory operations

Certificates are awarded as follows:

• The Certificate of Competence is awarded to a learner found “Competent” upon assessment of the sampling and tests appearing on the certificate.
• The Certificate of Attendance will be handed to a learner found to be “Not yet competent” upon assessment and when the learner has completed the contact facilitation with MTTC.
