Established in 1988, the Materials Testing Training College, MTTC (Pty) Ltd, provides:

Formal training and assistance to laboratory personnel in the civil engineering and related industries
Civil engineering and related laboratories quality systems development
Equipment calibration services and
Co-coordinating services for proficiency testing schemes

In its continued endeavours to fulfill its obligations towards addressing the inequalities of the past, approximately 35% of MTTC is now owned by historically disadvantaged persons.
